Description

“From The Ashes” is a captivating reflection on nature’s resilience and humanity’s role in preserving it. Inspired by the global impact of wildfires, including those that devastated Australia’s biodiversity, this one-of-a-kind hyper-realistic sculpture conveys a powerful message of hope and renewal. The piece features intricately sculpted eucalyptus leaves and mushrooms emerging from a real wood stump, symbolizing life’s enduring ability to rise from destruction. It serves as both a poignant reminder of our planet’s fragility and a call to cherish and protect its beauty.

This nature-inspired artwork, featured in “Wildfire Art – Wildfire Magazine,” blends mixed media with stunning realism. It’s a striking addition to any whimsical decor or mycology collection, making it an ideal eco-conscious gift. Bringing the serenity of a woodland scene into your home, this sculpture invites reflection on our connection to the environment and the beauty of renewal.

Materials

Polymer clay, air-dry clay, oil paints, resin, real burned wood stump

Production Method

Every detail in this piece, petal or sepal, is sculpted from scratch from various materials, such as polymer and air-dry clays, and others, and then meticulously hand-painted for a lifelike finish. Each creation encapsulates the inspiring beauty of nature, striking a perfect balance between botanical accuracy and artistic imagination.

Care Instructions

Polymer and air-dry clay items are thin but durable and flexible. Although, there are a few tips for your consideration:
– Use a dry brush or slightly wet napkin to clean an item.
– Avoid long contact with water. If your flower gets wet, let it dry immediately to restore its properties. You can use a hairdryer, but only cold air is suitable. If your product has lost shape, heat it with a hair dryer for a few seconds, give it the required shape, and then fix it with cold air.
– These items become fragile if temperatures below 0°C (32°F). You should be gentler when using them. After being at low temperatures, give your flowers 15-20 minutes in the room to
restore their flexibility.
– It is recommended that jewelry or accessories be stored in separate boxes.
– Do not put your items under pressure. Do not burn, scratch, or eat.
