Description
Part of the World Ocean collection, this mixed-media sculpture is inspired by the cold and powerful waters of the Antarctic Ocean. Flowing wave formations create a shifting composition in which a subtle anthropomorphic presence appears. Coral and anemone-inspired elements emerge throughout the sculpture, suggesting the hidden biodiversity that survives beneath the frozen surface.
Balancing between surrealism and marine-inspired contemporary art, the work reflects on the vulnerability of polar ecosystems increasingly affected by climate change and environmental instability. Every texture, organic detail, and marine form has been sculpted entirely by hand. A one-of-a-kind contemporary artwork for collectors of marine sculpture, environmental art, and nature-inspired contemporary design.
