This Month in the Studio
May 2026This month is focused on participating in the Halifax Crafters Spring Market. A celebration of handmade craftsmanship and local artists. Current work also includes updating available stock for the website shop and beginning development of a new surrealistic mushroom sculpture for an upcoming exhibition in Calgary this July.

2020 | The work was created under the impression of devastating fires Australia faced in late 2019 - early 2020. A real burned log in this mushroom sculpture was used as a reminder that nature always strives and manages to be reborn even after the most terrible fires and disasters. Now in private collection.

Current Inspiration
Atlantic Mushrooms
Mushrooms have long inspired my practice through their unusual forms and ecological diversity. This interest recently developed into a collection of 20 hand-sculpted sciart works. Each one is unique and based on a different species native to Atlantic Canada.
